Freezing should be preferably accomplished in the upper compartment, directly on the freezer grid. Of course, you may also use the frozen food bins to freeze fresh products. Notice, however, that in this case you will need to slightly reduce the quantity of food. Observe that fresh products should not be mixed with deep frozen food. 27 Note The bottom frozen food bin should be used exclusively for the storage of frozen food. If possible, avoid using this bin to freeze fresh food. If you need to freeze very large quantities of food, you may find it convenient to remove the frozen food bins (bottom bin may not be removed) from the unit and to stack your products directly on the freezing grids. To remove bins, pull forwards until they catch, tilt upwards and remove. Observe that food should not project over the border line, Figure 6/A, otherwise the air circulation within the unit will be adversely influenced. If a SIGNIFICANT QUANTITY of food is to be frozen (more than 6 kg. ) the SUPER-FREEZE button should be employed (figure 5, 8) TWENTY FOUR HOURS in advance. The outside edge of this button shines amber as a visual reminder that this FUNCTION is IN USE. Once the FOOD is IN the freezer maintain this setting for a further TWENTY-FOUR HOURS. After 24 hours you can switch off Super-freeze and move the now frozen food to a STORAGE shelf. at one time it is sufficient to switch on SUPER-FREEZE when you PUT THE FOOD IN and maintain for TWENTY-FOUR hours. Try whenever possible to keep the SUPERFREEZE compartment empty when you are about to freeze food.
