It combines a lightweight high-performance voice coil construction with a traditional large diaphragm capsule design to deliver a very low bass response and fast transient signals. The low frequency extension and mid band attenuation produce an ultra-smooth pre-shaped signal enabling the microphone to be used without corrective EQing, even on the most problematic bass signal sources. Position the microphone at the level of the resonant head. Less attack, much resonance, smooth, voluminous Less attack Position the microphone in the middle between the batter head and the resonant head. For less attack in all three positions, turn the microphone away from where the beater strikes. Combinant une bobine mobile très légère, à hautes performances, avec une capsule de grand diamètre, ce micro offre une réponse particulièrement étendue dans l'extrême grave avec une excellente restitution des transitoires. L'extension de la réponse dans l'extrême grave et l'atténuation du médium permettent d'utiliser ce micro sans aucune correction d'égalisation, très souvent problématique avec les sources sonores de fréquences basses.
