[. . . ] 4-5-6-7-8 Preliminary information for installation of the hood: Disconnect the hood during electrical connection, by turning the home mains switch off. Using a pencil, draw a line on the wall, extending up to the ceiling, to mark the centre. Rest the drilling template against the wall: the vertical centre line printed on the drilling template must correspond to the centre line drawn on the wall, and the bottom edge of the drilling template must correspond to the bottom edge of the hood: bear in mind that, when installation is complete, the underside of the hood must be at least 60 cm above the cooker top in the case of electric cookers, and at least 75 cm above the cooker top in the case of gas or mixed cookers. Rest the support bracket on the drilling template so that it coincides with the dotted rectangle, mark the two outer holes and drill them, remove the drilling template, insert 2 wall plugs and fix the hood support bracket into place using two 5x45mm screws. Rest the chimney support bracket G against the wall, touching the ceiling. Use the support bracket as a drilling template (the small slot formed on the support must coincide with the line drawn on the wall as above ­ operation 1) and mark 2 holes with a pencil, dril the holes (Ø8mm), insert 2 wall plugs. Fix the chimney support bracket to the wall using two 5x45mm screws. Connect a pipe (C - pipe and pipe clamps not provided, to be purchased separately) for discharge of fumes to the connection ring B located over the suction motor unit. If the hood is to be used in ducting version, the other end of the pipe must be connected to a device expelling the fumes to the outside. If the hood is to be used in filter version, fix deflector F to the chimney support bracket G using 2 screws, and connect the other end of the pipe to the connection ring on deflector F. Separate the two lower parts of the hood, which are supplied temporarily assembled to facilitate transport. Insert the lower of the two parts (the one containing the lamps) onto the lower guides of the hood, and push it until the back edge touches the wall. Adjust the distance of the hood from the wall and the horizontal position of the hood. Use a pencil to mark the holes to be used for final fixing. The fixing points are on the right and left hand sides of the bottom section of the hood. Drill two holes (Ø8mm) and insert two wall plugs. 10. Fix the bottom section of the hood to the wall using two screws. 12. Fix the bottom section of the hood using 4 screws. 13. Insert the top section of the hood and hook it onto the bottom section. 15. Connect the control panel to the motor unit using the two metal straps provided, which must be inserted in the correct position on the terminal strip located on the bottom outside edge of the motor unit . Two metal straps are already inserted in this terminal strip, and connection must be made by positioning the unconnected metal straps in such a way that the coloured lines printed along them correspond to the colours printed on the metal straps that are already connected to the terminal strip (e. g. : red to red and black to black - see also Fig. 16. Fix the top section of the chimney D to the support and slide the bottom section down to cover the motor unit, until it rests on the top of the hood canopy. Eseguire la connessione di un tubo (C - tubo e fascette per il fissaggio non fornite, da acquistare) per lo scarico dei fumi all'anello di connessione B posto sopra il gruppo motore. L'altra estremità del tubo dovrà essere collegata ad un dispositivo di espulsione fumi verso l'esterno in caso di utilizzo della cappa in versione aspirante.
